Today I am taking a break from painting and am brewing some beer instead! An American Pale Ale style with Simcoe hops. Not too strong – 4.5%. Yeast is in so hopefully it will be bubbling away by morning if not later on this evening.



Very simple and straightforward recipe (for 10 litres):

1985g Pale Malt, 215g Caramalt and 21g Simcoe hops added in 3 lots – 60 mins, 30 mins and 10 mins. M44 US West Coast yeast.
